Boris Johnson, Liar, Cheat, Failure, Drug User and Mayor.
Although I was familiar with Boris Johnson’s tv career, I drew a blank at being able to remember anything else about him, who was this chap who has just received the golden key to London town?
Like any good blogger, a quick google here and there and hey presto, we begin to see the Boris behind the bumbling.
Wealthy
Top schooling: Eton then Oxford
Relationships: Cheated on wife, fired from job because of it.
Career: Lasted a week as a management consultant type, then made funny on the dumb box.
But his sister Rachel Johnson, had the following thing to say about him on the Times online web site.
“Boris is incorruptible. He works harder than anyone I’ve ever met. He is funny and modest (even though he used to tell me that he had forgotten more Latin and Greek than I would ever know). He is generous, ambitious, competitive, greedy, devoted to his family, lacking in vanity, uninterested in celebrity, glamour and social status and 100% committed to doing his best for London and all Londoners. ”
Incorruptible huh? How bout that secret nookie or his bullingdon boy drug and booze frenzied days?
He’s uninterested in celebrity, glamour and social status: Then why was he in the Bullingdon Club and why did he marry a model who posed for Tatler?
Even his own sister has conveniently forgotten that the man is an articulate tool.
So London voters can’t be blamed….
or can they?
I remember when the anti bush rhetoric was in full fling, and I sat with my London peeps laughing at how stupid the Americans were for voting for a man who was clearly corrupt.
