The latest Pixar release Wall-E, is a vast improvement on recent piss poor efforts. ( Cars…yuck)
The background rendering is incredibly realistic and use of textures manages to bring their film to life effortlessly.
The plot follows the adventures of a small robot named Wall-E, who sole purpose is to collect and compact trash.
Wall-E, who could quite easily be the secret love child of Eighties robo icon, Johnny-5 and a petite front loading washing machine, wants love and it’s impossible, but the arrival of another robot soon shakes things up.
The film is peppered with modern Aesop fablets. ( Don’t rely to heavily on technology, appreciate simple things, get moving or get fat and so on.. ) but their placement is discreet and amusing for both little goblin’s and their dungeon keepers.
It’s a sweet little family movie, but if you are goblin free like me, then just wait until Batman…
